My first exposure to the financial industry came in August 1990, hard to believe almost 30 years ago. Never having been exposed to investing or even really saving for my future my financial career began in an administrative position. Attending college at night and working full time during the day, Gardner Webb University provided my hard-earned Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Prior to this I graduated from East Rutherford High School in Forest City, North Carolina. In 2001 I felt led to further my career by establishing a new branch office from the ground up with another firm as I became a financial advisor. I have truly enjoyed helping families reach their financial goals, by participating in the journey of their lives. After 27 years I felt God leading me to discover more I could do for my clients as an independent advisor, therefore, I have registered with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., one of the top 10 broker-dealers that support independent advisors.
